What is your ideal of the American dream?

       An American dream is the equality of opportunity that is available to American, allowing the highest aspirations and goals to achieve. My ideal of the American dream is freedom, democracy, rights, liberty, and justice. Changing the lives of others and trying to make their life better than what it is is an american dream. Martin Luther King Jr. was living the American dream. Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream for justice, a dream that no one get judged by his/her color, and many others.

I have a dream speech

Allusion "My country, tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing..." (pg. 5) is effective in this speech because even though African Americans are living free in the United States they are still being treated like they don't have no rights and Martin Luther King Jr. want everyone to be free Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty (pg.1) is effective because before the slaves were free they were poor, didn't have freedom, rights, justice, etc and now that African Americans are free they still have the disrespect of being low class Repetition Now is the time to (pg.2) is effective because Martin Luther King Jr. was tired of blacks being treated differently so he wanted to tell the world that it was time to change the future of black lives I have a dream (pg.5) is effective because Martin Luther King Jr. dreamed that all people in all colors will come hand in hand and be friends with each other and is trying to show that he want whats best for the peo
